Recent trend of Graphic Design - web/print/GUI/other, more concentration is given to the business/purpose of the output as opposed to the "just" creative elements or Look and Feel.

It’s ideal to strike a balance between creativity and Business need. But, sites, which are like a document pasted on web, also is not good, I believe usability can be achieved without compromising too much on Look and feel. By placing a plain document the site will not become usable, unless it’s easy to use and provide the required information, do the required functions at ease and more. There should be a right mix of usability and creativity, not just usability or just the creativity…
